About me:
I was in the Air Force for 10 years, my last couple of years brought me to Colorado ('96). I love it here; so I discharged & became an AF contractor.

In 2002'ish, with a burning desire to ride, I took the Abate of CO three day course. It wasn't until late '05 I got serious; finding an '03 VTX 1300R for sale. It had only 2K miles, bags, shield, & some chrome - for $6600. I bought it.

At the time, I hadn't rode since the class, which was a Suzuki 250. Now I have to figure out I'm going to "RIDE" this monster (ok, that's what it seemed like then!) down a dirt and gravel driveway and road, find my way to Meridian Road, then on home. Needless to say I was sweating bullets and just about $h!tin bricks; I do laugh about it now.

Since then I've added quite a few, V&H, Mustang seats, risers, floorboards, more chrome, SPyKer box, & more to come.

It's my first bike ... and I'm now over 25k ... and the '08 Spring-itch is in full force.
