I started riding just a few years ago.  Days after completing my MSF safety course, I bought my first bike, a 94 Shadow 1100 with 14,500 miles on it.  The first year I put 17,000 more on it.  I average about 15,000 miles a year.  I live up north in Longmont, and commute to Denver every day.  If it is not snowing, icy, or raining hard in the  morning, I ride.  I recently traded in my Shadow for a 2003 VTX 1800C, and look forward to the next 60,000 miles.
