I purchased the Ultimate Lowrider style seat with the drivers back rest and passenger pillion. The Ultimate seat must be custom ordered.

Overall, the fit and finish is excellent, it's a well crafted seat and the embroidered X is cool. The Ultimate Lowrider seat lowers you to the ground about 1” below the stock Honda seating position.

The passenger pillion is wide and comfortable, and the driver backrest is very good on long rides with one exception. I find that it hits my back in the same place my back armor ends. If I lean forward a bit, the back armor rides above the rest and jabs me in the back. This forces me to sit up and pull my coat down under the armor. You have no idea how often this happens on a 700 mile ride.

One question Ultimate will ask when ordering the seat is your weight. Tell them your lifelong average weight. I told them my weight at the time and have since gained 30 or so pounds. As you gain weight the foam pushes you closer to the tank and now I’m almost sitting on the tank. My bad!!!

To sum things up, I am very pleased with the seat. Looks cool, very comfy and lowers my seated height.

Each model of the VTX has a very different stock seat from Honda. Therefore the Ultimate replacement seats have been designed and styled separately for each VTX model.

For instance, do not compare an Ultimate Lowrider or Bigboy seat on a 1800 Retro if you have a 1800 C model, the seats are very different for each bike model.

All Ultimate VTX seats have been designed with your ultimate comfort as the first priority, the same design basics as our Valkyrie seats were applied to give you a long distance no numb bum ride with our exclusive comfort memory foam (our secret) and maximum back support built into the seat. Correct nose angle design prevents you from sliding forward during a braking situation.

Now you can have the ride you have been waiting for.

No one seat can be made to fit all size riders. This is why we build a Lowrider seat, a Midrider seat and a Bigboy seat for the different VTX model bikes.

Which seat suits you best depends on your height, weight, leg length and the size of your butt.

Because our seats have a built-in back support, the heavier you are the more forward you will sit.

Lowrider: The 1300 model Lowriders and Midriders are 16 inches wide and the 1800 model Lowriders are 17 inches wide. All Ultimate Lowrider model seats are one inch lower than your stock seat. If you are under 200 lbs you will sit in the same position or a little closer to the handle bars as your stock seat depending on your butt size. If you are over 200 lbs you will sit one inch or more forward. If your not wanting to sit more forward you may need our Midrider or Bigboy model.

Midrider: The 1300 C and 1800 F model Midriders are 16 inches wide and will sit you at the same height and the same position to the handlebars as your stock seats.

Bigboy: If you are heavier than 220 lbs. you may need the Bigboy model (1300 Retro and 1800 Retro and 1800 C) The Ultimate Bigboy model seat is designed for riders over 6 ft tall and or heavier than 220 lbs. The Bigboy seat for the 1300 Retro and 1800 C model is 17 1/2 inches wide and the 1800 Retro Bigboy is 18 inches wide. The Bigboy seats are one inch higher than your stock seat and will sit you further back (depending on your weight and butt size) This also helps riders with leg inseam measurements over 33 inches.

The Ultimate seats for VTX models have the rider backrest hardware built into every seat so you can add the backrest at any time (except 1300-C Midrider)

1300 Retro Bigboy and 1800 C Bigboy rider backrest must be ordered with the seat (these models can not be added later)

The 1300 Retro Bigboy seat is offered with a rider backrest for a solo seat.

Ultimate removable rider backrest: Pad measures 7" high by 10" wide by 1.5" thick and is built using the same memory foam as our seats. Infinite tilt to match your back angle, it folds down forward for easy on and off your motorcycle. Adjustment forward and back is more than 2 inches. Adjusts with a thumb screw while your riding. No need to remove the seat or use a wrench.

The Ultimate VTX passenger pillion is 14 inches wide for all models with comfort to spare and the sissy bar backrest pad will bolt right on to your Honda backrest sissy bar or other aftermarket bars. We make them all.

The Ultimate passenger backrest pad measures 12" wide x 8" high and sits your passenger 10 degrees straighter than the stock pad, this helps eliminate back fatigue on those long rides. The pad comes with stainless steel screws and fits on your Standard or Deluxe Hondaline sissy bar or any other make bar.

All VTX model Ultimate seats are offered as individual components and as sets. You can have your choice of our premium Vinyl or Leather.
