Because of the dual pipes on the Retro, the passenger foot pegs are approximately 2 inches higher than the C. Add to that the diameter of the stock pipes and you have few accessories available for dropping the passenger foot peg and offering much in the way of passenger comfort.

The Kuryakyn off set mounts are an adequate option and they are awesome for passenger comfort. (See that review "here") The advantage you have with the Kury option is that it's adjustable. That also becomes its failing. Every time you turn around it is loose and it's not sturdy enough to allow the passenger to use it as a step to mount the bike.

The Cycle-istic drop down mounts are the perfect alternative. They also drop the passenger foot position down on the Retro approximately 2 inches or about to the center of the top pipe. They help the passenger to extend their legs down just enough to take the strain and pressure off the knees and hip. Considering they are one piece and they have no setting adjustments you eliminate the Kury problems.

You can add the Kury ISO Wing or any other brand floor board with these drop down mounts and they will make an excellent foot position for passenger comfort.

We all know, if the passenger is happy you will have a much more enjoyable trip! Also the Cycle-istic option is cheaper than the Kury at $80 plus $7 handling! You can't go wrong.

Please note: The Cycle-istic drop downs will not work on the C model with single exhaust. Make sure to check your ride for proper clearance.
