Emily's Parade
September 27th, 2008

   3rd Annual Emily’s Parade

Emily Keyes was a happy and bright teenager with lots of friends, a loving family, and a boundless future when her life ended needlessly at the hands of a stranger.

On September 27, 2006, 16-year-old Emily Keyes was fatally shot at Platte Canyon High School in Bailey, Colorado, by a gunman who had entered her classroom.

Emily was one of seven students held hostage.

Once again, Columbine High School (6201 S. Pierce St. Littleton) will host the start of the Parade, with registration starting at 8:00 am.

Bikes will begin leaving at 10:30 am. The Parade concludes at Platte Canyon High School (57393 U.S. Highway 285, Bailey).

Registration includes refreshments at Columbine High School and lunch at Platte Canyon High School. The proceeds from Emily’s Parade 2008 will be dedicated to support the mission and programs of The Foundation.
